About the Role

Reporting to the Sous Chef and Executive Sous Chef, you’ll support day-to-day kitchen operations — preparing quality dishes, learning new techniques, and helping keep service running like clockwork.

Day to day you’ll be:

• Preparing ingredients and mise en place to the standard set by our senior chefs
• Cooking and plating dishes with consistency, colour, texture and flavour front of mind
• Following recipes, portion sizes and quality standards under guidance
• Learning new techniques, cuisines and menu items as you grow into the role
• Keeping your section clean, organised and HACCP-compliant
• Checking deliveries and rotating stock for freshness and quality
• Supporting your fellow chefs during busy services

What We’re Looking For

• Certificate in Commercial Cookery (or currently completing your apprenticeship), or equivalent experience
• Some experience in a professional kitchen; high-volume experience a bonus
• Food Handling Certificate preferred, with a working knowledge of HACCP
• A genuine passion for food, hospitality and learning from the best
• A team player who takes direction well and brings a positive attitude
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays
