About the role
As HR Manager, you'll be the trusted advisor to employees and leaders across the business, providing practical support and guidance on people matters while helping deliver people initiatives that support business growth and performance. This is a stand-alone role with broad responsibility across employee relations, recruitment, people development, performance management, culture and HR compliance. Working closely with senior leaders, you'll play a key role in implementing and driving the effectiveness of our new people strategy, ensuring we continue to attract, develop and retain high-performing teams across the business.
Key responsibilities
Developing and implementing capability frameworks, learning pathways and development programs that support employee growth, leadership capability and long-term workforce effectiveness
Implementing people and culture initiatives that improve employee engagement, capability and organisational effectiveness
Supporting leaders and employees across a broad range of employee relations matters
Driving a positive, connected and high-performing workplace culture
Managing onboarding and offboarding processes
Leading end-to-end recruitment, including advertising, sourcing, interviewing and talent pooling
Supporting employee development, training and career progression initiatives
Assisting managers with performance management and feedback processes
Maintaining HR policies, procedures and employment compliance requirements
Partnering with leadership to support workforce planning and organisational growth
About you
Demonstrated experience designing and delivering learning, development or capability-building initiatives that improve individual and organisational performance
Demonstrated experience in a standalone Human Resources or People & Culture role
Strong working knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
Experience managing recruitment and talent acquisition activities
Confidence handling employee relations matters and providing advice to leaders
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work autonomously
