Canberra Learning and Development Centre is a school tutoring business focusing on helping struggling students develop their skills. We pride ourselves on our supportive relationships with our students and their families. This entails building confidence in student's ability so that they can be more independent in the classroom.

Qualifications & experience

• Professional experience in applying mathematics

• Teaching or tutoring experience would be looked favourably upon

• Cert 4 in training and assessment is acceptable

• Teaching qualifications in secondary mathematics would be helpful

Tasks & responsibilities

• Tutoring high school and/or primary maths students in groups of no more than 3-4 and 1:1 tutoring

• You may need to work between two locations on different days in either Phillip or North Lyneham

• Teaching all mathematics courses and in particular from 7-12

• Utilising resources provided by us to prepare work for the students

• Be able to provide feedback to parents
