The opportunity: 
This role is ideal for an experienced legal support professional looking for flexibility without compromising on quality work. Supporting a Partner and team of lawyers in a busy litigation practice, you'll be trusted to take ownership of your work, build strong relationships, and play a valued part in the team's day-to-day success. Working three days per week, you'll be required to work Tuesdays and Fridays, with the flexibility to choose the third day that best suits your schedule.

What you’ll do:

• Provide end‑to‑end administrative support to a busy litigation team. Working alongside 
• Assist with legal billing, including time entry, invoice preparation and liaising with clients and finance teams
• Manage calendars, meetings and critical deadlines to support effective matter management
• Prepare, format and proofread legal documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Maintain and manage electronic and physical files in line with best practice
• Liaise professionally with clients, barristers, courts and other external stakeholders
• Confidently use MS Office and legal practice systems
• Balance competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Take initiative, anticipate team needs and contribute to continuous improvement
• Work collaboratively with your team to support excellent client outcomes

About you:

• Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant, Practice Administrator or similar legal support professional.
• Available to work three days per week, including Tuesdays and Fridays, with flexibility to choose an additional day.
• Litigation experience is highly desirable. 
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, professional services or legal environment.
• Familiarity with legal systems, billing processes or matter management platforms will be highly regarded.
• This opportunity is best suited to career Legal Secretaries and is not designed as a pathway into a legal practitioner role.
