About the role 🎯

Reporting to the Group Operations Manager and Site General Manager, you will:

• Lead and motivate the production team
• Champion a strong safety culture
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical leadership
• Manage production resources, workflow and performance
• Maintain quality, efficiency and cost control
• Ensure customer orders are delivered on time, in full and to specification
• Work closely with other departments to improve overall plant performance

What we’re looking for 👀

• 5+ years’ experience in a production or manufacturing leadership role
• Printing industry experience highly regarded
• Experience with self adhesive labels or similar printed products preferred
• Strong people leadership and communication skills
• A practical, hands on approach to problem solving
• Strong focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
• Quality assurance experience highly desirable
• Highly organised, motivated and results focused
