POSITION OVERVIEWWe are seeking Contracts Administrators to join our Sydney team, supporting the delivery of a range of newly awarded landmark projects valued between $180 million and $250 million. These significant developments will help shape Sydney's built environment while further strengthening Hickory's growing presence in the NSW market. With a strong pipeline of work across multiple major projects, this is an excellent opportunity for driven professionals to play a key role in the successful delivery of high-profile developments and contribute to Hickory's continued growth in Sydney.

RESPONSIBILITIESFinancial ManagementCollaborate with Project Managers on financial activities.Review Bill of Quantities including agreed Value Management Items and set up project budgets, ensuring accuracy and seeking clarity where alignment with estimates is not achievedImplement and maintain financial tools.Process financial tasks according to Hickory's Financial calendar.ReportingProvide accurate, timely financial reports.Maintain project financial records.Progress ClaimsSubmit progress claims promptly.Monitor and expedite payments.Payments and SuppliesAdminister site payments and supplies.Process payments in financial software (e.g., Cheops).Contract ManagementManage subcontractor tendering and contracts.Maintain subcontractor records and insurances.Conclude final accounts and release securities.Commercial and Risk ManagementAnalyze tender documents and contracts.Identify and mitigate commercial risks.Consult on potential claims and disputes.ProcurementAdminister project procurement schedule.Prepare and manage subcontractor agreements.Contract AdministrationOversee contract administration.Track milestone events and dates.Liaise with stakeholders and manage extensions of time.Contractual ComplianceEnsure compliance with insurance and contractual requirements.Submit necessary notices and claims.Design ManagementReview contract documents and project requirements.Manage design issues and assess impacts on timelines and costs.Document site progress.Project SupportManage Aconex project administration tasks.Collaborate with design consultants.Ensure effective use of Dynamics 365.Prepare handover manuals.Assist Project Manager in achieving Practical Completion.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLEBachelor of Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management or equivalent.Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the commercial construction industry.Experience in large-scale construction projects.Experience in successfully negotiating complex contracts with a variety of stakeholders, including trade contractors, suppliers and clients.
