Anchored in Leighton Beach, North Fremantle Pearla  is a modern seafood restaurant & Bar celebrating Western Australia’s seafood, produce and dining.

Guided by owner Chef Scott Bridger and Head chef Quinten Ville Rennon, Pearla has opened with full force gaining- Top 100 Restaurants- Gourmet Traveller 2026, The AGE- 2nd best seafood restaurant Australia and the WA good food guide top 10 in the state.

We are after a chef that understands fish and seafood and thrives on the provenance of where and why we are using certain species of fish.
Whole tuna and fish from the South West hang in our dedicated dry-aging fridges. Utilising the whole fish and minimal waste, We have formed great relationships with fishermen up and down the coast so we guarantee that we have the best of the best in WA seafood.

Seasonal vegetables and fruits play a big part in our offering, with everything prepared onsite with modern plated dishes from our oyster and raw bar. Our offering is unique and original to the Perth dining scene, but approachable and fun at the same time.

We are looking for a sous chef with experience in modern-style restaurants, a chef with a collaborative approach, who enjoys sharing ideas and gets excited about produce. Working with a team of experienced chefs, and with a relaxed yet professional approach, we are a team whose core values are great produce, a positive working culture, and genuine passion.

• Team player and a good human.

• Experience in managing a team, controlling costs and wastage

• Available nights and weekends

• Good communication skills

• Can fillet a fish :)
