MC Float Driver

Austek Asphalt Services is seeking an experienced MC Float Driver to join our team in Yatala, Queensland. This is a full-time role that will see you playing a crucial part in the delivery of our road construction and maintenance services across South-East Queensland.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operate and maintain low loaders and other heavy haulage equipment
• Load and unload construction machinery unsupervised in an urban environment or remote areas
• Perform pre-start checks and basic maintenance on equipment
• Deliver equipment and materials to job sites in a timely manner
• Adhere to all safety procedures and traffic management plans
• Provide excellent customer service to our clients

What we're looking for

• A valid Heavy Vehicle (MC) driver's licence
• Construction Card 
• Extensive experience operating low loaders and other heavy haulage equipment
• Strong knowledge of load restraint and traffic management practices
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Commitment to safety and a proven track record of safe work practices
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to undergo and pre-employment medical assessment
