Heavy Combination (HC) Tipper Truck Driver

About the role

On Trax Earthmoving is seeking an experienced Heavy Combination (HC) Tipper Truck Driver to join our growing team based in Tullamarine, Victoria. This hands-on role supports our earthmoving, civil, and construction projects, requiring a reliable operator who takes pride in safe, efficient work and well-maintained equipment.

What you’ll be doing

• Operate HC tipper trucks to transport materials including crushed rock, sand, soil, and spoil

• Confidently operate vehicles fitted with a Road Ranger gearbox

• Safely load, transport, and tip materials on active construction sites

• Comply with all road rules, site safety requirements, and company procedures

• Complete daily pre-start and post-start vehicle inspections

• Maintain accurate records of loads, delivery times, and site movements

• Assist with general truck care, cleaning, and basic maintenance reporting

• Represent On Trax Earthmoving professionally on site and when dealing with clients and other trades

What we’re looking for

• Current Heavy Combination (HC) licence

• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating tipper trucks or similar heavy vehicles

• Proven experience driving Road Ranger gearboxes

• Australian work rights

• Strong understanding of road rules, load restraint, and construction site safety

• Reliable, punctual, and well organised

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude

• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
