Experienced Dental Assistant

Twilight Dental is a modern and growing dental practice committed to providing exceptional patient care in a warm, welcoming, and professional environment. We are looking for an experienced Dental Assistant or Dental Receptionist to join our friendly and supportive team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous dental experience who is confident, organised, and passionate about delivering a high standard of patient care. Whether your strengths are in dental assisting, reception, or a combination of both, we’d love to hear from you.

As part of our growing practice, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the day-to-day running of the clinic, support our clinicians and patients, and play an important role in the continued growth and development of Twilight Dental.

We are looking for an experienced Dental Assistant or Dental Receptionist who is passionate about patient care and enjoys being part of a friendly, supportive and fast-paced dental team.

The successful candidate will play an important role in creating a positive experience for our patients, whether you’re assisting our clinicians chairside, supporting the reception desk, or confident working across both areas.

• Providing chairside assistance to our dentists across a variety of procedures

• Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms

• Following infection control and sterilisation procedures

• Supporting the smooth day-to-day flow of the appointment book

• Welcoming patients and creating a friendly, comfortable experience

• Managing phone calls, patient enquiries and appointment bookings

• Processing payments and health fund claims

• Maintaining accurate patient records and administrative documentation

• Communicating effectively between patients, clinicians and the wider team

• Working collaboratively to keep the clinic running efficiently

We would love to hear from someone who:

• Has previous experience working in a dental practice

• Has experience as a Dental Assistant, Dental Receptionist, or both

• Is confident, organised and able to manage a busy environment

• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Is friendly, professional and patient-focused

• Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in their work

• Is reliable, proactive and willing to help wherever needed

• Works well independently while also being a supportive team member

• Is comfortable learning new systems and processes

• Is looking for an opportunity to grow with an expanding practice

Experience with dental practice management software and a Certificate III in Dental Assisting would be highly regarded but are not essential for the right candidate.
