Are you a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant looking for your next opportunity? We're seeking a skilled professional accountant to join our Finance Team. This is a key role responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, managing the Fixed Asset Register, and supporting strategic decision-making through insightful analysis.
In this position, you will oversee the daily accounting operations of the company while guaranteeing the timeliness, correctness, and integrity of financial data. Maintaining adherence to Australian accounting standards, tax laws, and internal financial rules will be a major responsibility of yours. To deliver trustworthy financial data that facilitates operational and strategic decision-making, you will collaborate closely with top management and important stakeholders. Strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to manage several priorities within tight reporting deadlines are all necessary for the position. Additionally, you will help ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in all financial operations by continuously improving accounting systems, procedures, and controls.
Position: Permanent Full Time
Hours of Work: 9:30am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday
Salary Package: AUD86,000+ super / per year

Requirements:
Master’s Degree or above in Commerce, Accounting, Data Analysis, Finance, or a related discipline is a must;
Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Accountant with a proven track record. Work of experience at Wealth Management Corporate in Australia is preferred;
Fluent in Mandarin and English is a must;
Strong communication skills and professional presence;
Ability to troubleshoot financial issues and propose solutions that keep clients services on budget and on schedule;
Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Roles and Responsibility:
Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of company-wide and project-specific budgets and assist with new budget simulations as required;
Formulate accounting policies in accordance with company’s development orientation;
Collaborate with management levels to create department forecasts, staying aligned with updated planning.
Cost Tracking & Reporting
Monitor Dimension’s expenses, tracking actual costs against budgeted figures, and make adjustments as needed;
Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports and financial statements, along with an overall financial summary for the Accounting Department Manager or Director;
Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, payroll tax, and other statutory returns;
Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and internal policies;
Maintain the confidentiality, accuracy, and integrity of financial information;
Summarize financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, account statement, and other reports
Financial investigations & Fund Management
Assisting weekly cash flow forecasting and funds management to ensure adequate funds for all financial obligations of the business;
Identifying potential financial risks and recommend strategies to mitigate them to help Dimension and our clients;
Assist our clients in relation to their important business decisions-making, such as conduct financial due diligence when their business purchase & sale, mergers or combination, capital financing, suspected fraud, insolvency and etc.
Taxation & Auditing
Support the finance team with internal and external audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations;
Provide suitable advices according to data analysis in relation to the last stage development situation of company including overall financial planning and taxation;
Preparing taxation returns in time.
Cash Flow Management
Monitor cash flow schedules to ensure timely payments from clients and stakeholders;
Ensure any schedule changes impacting cash flow are approved by the Financial Controller;
Be responsible for appraising Dimension’s cash flow risks in relation to any projects or investments.
Maintaining Accountant System
Secure financial information by completing database backups;
Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and generally accepted accounting procedures.
Payroll Support
Assist Payroll with crew queries regarding pay rates, overtime, entitlements, benefits, or union/guild requirements, processing and checking of payruns.
Manage superannuation payments and reporting.
Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting for managers.
