About the role

Lain Pty Ltd is seeking a practical, hands-on Warehouse & Assembly Hand to join our close-knit team in Rowville, Victoria. This is a full-time role for someone who's genuinely good with their hands, takes pride in getting the details right, and enjoys working out smarter ways to make and assemble things.

You'll be building and finishing commercial furniture that ends up in shopping centres, food courts and retail precincts across Australia, so quality and precision matter on every job.

What you'll be doing

• Cutting timber to spec

• Coating and finishing timber

• Assembling furniture items and components

• Unloading shipping containers

• Preparing and dispatching deliveries

• Loading, unloading and transporting materials

• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment

• Working with the team to find better ways of doing things

What we're looking for

• A practical, hands-on person who's confident with tools and can work things out on their own

• Excellent attention to detail, this is non-negotiable, our products are seen up close by the public

• The ability to follow instructions accurately and consistently

• Someone who loves a challenge and looks for smarter ways to make and assemble items

• Current driver's licence (essential)

• Fluent English, written and spoken

• Strong hand-eye coordination and physical stamina

• Reliable, safety-conscious, and a genuine team player who pulls in the same direction
