Civil Supervisor - WA

At Sitzler Pty Ltd, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Civil Supervisor to join our team in Western Australia. This role will be based on project sites across Western Australia and will fall under the department of Construction WA. As a Civil Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage all aspects of civil construction and operations within the designated project area. You will play a key role in ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities and main tasks include: - Leading and supervising a team of civil construction workers, subcontractors, and other personnel involved in the project. - Coordinating with project managers to plan, execute, and finalise projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. - Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations on site. - Monitoring productivity levels and implementing efficient work processes to optimise project performance. - Conducting regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications. - Managing resources effectively to meet project requirements, including materials, equipment, and manpower. - Providing regular progress reports to management regarding project status, challenges faced, and potential solutions.

The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record in civil construction supervision. A thorough understanding of civil construction processes along with excellent communication and organisational skills will be essential for this role. Skills & Experience 

Qualifications 

Minimum level of knowledge/skills/training required to carry out the job: 

 Nationally Recognised Construction Induction 

 Recognised relevant qualification or minimum of 15 years site experience in the civil industry with senior level experience on major projects 

      Civil background 

      Leading Hand for 2 years 

      Or other relevant qualification 

      Or other relevant industry experience 

 Complete understanding of: 

      Construction or civil materials and methods 

 Sound knowledge of: 

      Project programming 

      Management and planning skills 

 Exposure to contract administration 

 WHS for Supervisors 

 Minimum HR Licence 

 First Aid 

 Fire Warden & Extinguisher Training

Work Experience 

Considered necessary to do the job effectively: 

 Minimum of 15 years site experience in the civil industry with senior level experience on major projects 

      Or other relevant experience
