About the role

This is a unique opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist to coordinate and support the delivery of the MRFF-funded PACE-RURAL clinical trial across Cairns and surrounding communities. Working within a large and progressive Physiotherapy Service, you will lead high-level research activities, provide expert advice in clinical research and trial coordination, and contribute to improving health outcomes for rural and regional populations through innovative, evidence-based practice.About us:
The Physiotherapy Service at Cairns Hospital is a large and progressive regional service comprising approximately 73 Physiotherapy and Allied Health Assistant positions across Cairns Hospital, Oregon Street Campus and Gordonvale Memorial Hospital. We deliver high-quality inpatient and outpatient care across a broad range of specialties, including emergency, critical care, rehabilitation, orthopaedics, oncology, paediatrics, women's health, neurology and cardiovascular services, supporting patients throughout the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service (CHHHS) and the Cape York and Torres Strait regions.
