LV Mechanic / Diesel Fitter - Immediate Start

About the role

This position will suit an experienced mechanic who is comfortable working on a variety of equipment and can manage tasks independently. The successful applicant will be a self-motivated tradesperson who is confident working independently and has a strong mechanical background. AURUKUN FIFO FROM CAIRNS.

Key responsibilities

• Light vehicles and LV mechanical work

• Small engines

• Small trucks

• Plant and machinery

• Mechanical fault finding and repairs

• Preventative maintenance and servicing

• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues

• Working independently and managing day-to-day mechanical requirements

About you

• Qualified LV Fitter / Mechanic

• Relevant trade qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge and practical skills

• Experience working independently

• Reliable, punctual and self-motivated

• Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills

• High standard of workmanship

• Ability to work safely and efficiently

• Plant or machinery experience highly regarded

• A current driver's licence
