Outside of School Hours Care (OSHC) Assistant

Located on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula, Woodleigh School is an independent, coeducational school comprising two Junior Campuses, Minimbah in Frankston South and Penbank in Moorooduc and a Senior Campus in Langwarrin South.

We are currently seeking qualified educators to help implement and run our OSHC program at our Penbank campus.  If you are vibrant, kind, compassionate, articulate, energetic, and responsible we would love to hear from you. 

Initially the role will be till the end of Term 3, 2026 however there is the possibility to extend.  The hours of work are Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 3pm-6pm. If you are unable to do all three shifts but could do one or two we would still encourage you to apply.   (Please indicate in your cover letter your availability). 

Responsibilities:

• To respect and uphold the policies of the School and the policies of the Early Childhood Centre
• To provide active, adequate and efficient supervision of the children
• To support the administration and preparation of daily activities
• To share the housekeeping tasks of preparation, hygiene, safety and packing away related to the program, with other staff 
• To carry out the tasks which are important for the physical care of the children
• To work cooperatively with all staff to ensure the service operates in a safe work environment and that staff follow safe work practices 

Experience and Skills:

• Minimum Diploma of Early Childhood Education required
• Current CPR (HLTAID009),First Aid (HLTAID011 or HLTAID012) and Anaphylaxis certificates
• Experience working with young children in an early learning setting
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Initiative, flexibility and problem solving skills
• Current Victorian Working with Children Check

Conditions of Employment

• A Working With Children's Check is required for this position
• Qualification and First Aid/Anaphylaxis is required for this position
