The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to be based in Melbourne and to lead the design, analysis, verification and construction support of steel and concrete structures across major power infrastructure projects. Working closely with civil, geotechnical, primary, secondary and construction teams, you will manage structural deliverables from feasibility and tender through detailed design, construction and commissioning.

This is a hands-on technical role with the opportunity to provide expert advice, guide designers and subcontractors, support site activities and contribute to design reviews, Safety in Design workshops and value engineering initiatives.Prepare and review calculations, engineering reports, specifications, scopes of work, bills of quantities, drawings and 3D model outputs.Coordinate structural interfaces with civil, geotechnical, primary, secondary and construction disciplines.Manage design packages to meet project schedule, budget, quality and client requirements.Participate in design reviews, multidisciplinary workshops, Safety in Design activities and risk assessments.Undertake site inspections and condition assessments, and provide engineering support during construction and commissioning.Conduct design checks and peer reviews, maintain QA requirements and embed lessons learned into future projects.
