About the role

At Big River Pork, we are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team in Murray Bridge, South Australia. This full-time role and will be responsible for providing electrical maintenance and support to our state-of-the-art pork processing facility. Very completive salary with weekly pay cycle, over time and weekend work available. Day shift and afternoon shifts flexibility.

What you'll be doing

• Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on electrical equipment and systems

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, and implement effective solutions

• Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant regulations and safety standards

• Assist with the installation of new electrical infrastructure and equipment

• Maintain detailed records of all electrical work completed

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of electrical processes and procedures

• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior electrical technicians

What we're looking for

• Qualified Electrician with a current Electrical Trade License, with full rights to work in Australia.

• Minimum 3 years' experience in an industrial or commercial electrical maintenance role

• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills

• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and drawings

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Weekend work when required paid at overtime rates
