About the role
The State Integrity Officer will play a key role in protecting and strengthening the integrity of tennis across New South Wales. As part of Tennis Australia's Integrity and Compliance team, you will help ensure tennis remains a safe, inclusive and fair environment for all participants. Working closely with Tennis NSW and a broad range of stakeholders including clubs, coaches, players, parents, officials and volunteers, you will manage integrity matters, support safeguarding initiatives, provide guidance and education, and help address issues relating to child safety, member protection, on-court behaviour and online conduct.
This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact while protecting participant wellbeing and upholding the values, reputation and integrity of tennis at every level of the game. This is a part-time, permanent position working 4 days per week.
In this role you will:
Act as the first point of contact for integrity and safeguarding concerns, managing phone and email enquiries, providing stakeholders with advice, support and referrals as required.
Develop and deliver educational material to support stakeholders and team members navigate Tennis Australia’s National Policies.
Assist in ensuring investigations are conducted in accordance with best practice.
Implement, execute and deliver initiatives outlined in the anti-doping / anti-corruption and/or safeguarding strategy.
Develop and implement efficient systems for organising, storing and managing records, including ensuring accuracy and appropriate confidentiality requirements.
Manage the administrative management of Member Association Code of Behaviour Complaints Panel.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
A high level of verbal and written communication skills and conflict resolution
Proven ability to investigate and prepare reports in relation to any incidents
Ability to analyse and interpret information as appropriate, disseminate effectively
Ability to set priorities, plan work programs and meet strict deadlines unsupervised
A current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain)
Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
