Technical Business Analyst

Job Title: Technical Business Analyst (Tech BA)Job SummaryWe are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, architects, and QA teams to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and support successful delivery of technology projects.Key ResponsibilitiesGather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.Conduct requirement workshops and stakeholder discussions.Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria.Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, Architects, and QA teams throughout the SDLC.Analyze existing systems, applications, APIs, and business processes.Identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.Support solution design and provide clarification to development teams.Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.Work with QA teams to define test scenarios and validate delivered functionality.Support UAT and coordinate with business users for requirement validation.Perform impact analysis for changes and new requirements.Prepare process maps, data flows, and system interaction diagrams.Track requirements through implementation and ensure traceability.Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Required Skills6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Technical Business Analyst.Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.Experience in requirement gathering, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management.Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts.Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, web services, and system integrations.Experience working with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.Ability to create user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications.Good understanding of application architecture and integration concepts.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred SkillsExperience with cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS.Exposure to data platforms, ETL, APIs, microservices, or enterprise applications.Knowledge of Power BI or other reporting/analytics tools.Experience working in banking, insurance, healthcare, or other enterprise domains.Knowledge of BPMN, UML, Visio, or similar process-modelling tools.
