Technical & Quality Manager - North Qld

We are seeking a motivated Technical & Quality Manager to support our concrete and quarry operations across North Queensland.

This is a hands-on role combining quality assurance, technical support, and customer liaison.

Location: Ayr or Townsville

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate quarry material testing and maintain lot control.

• Manage technical data for tenders, project start-ups and TMR registrations.

• Oversee concrete mix trials and quarry blend trials.

• Review raw material performance, testing methods and mix costs.

• Provide technical support and fit-for-purpose material recommendations to customers.

• Assist Sales with pricing for complex specifications.

• Assist with weighbridge or machinery operation when required.

Skills & Experience

• Civil Engineering degree – highly desirable.

• Where a Civil Engineering degree is absent – experience in managing a civil earthworks testing laboratory

• Experience in concrete, quarry or construction materials either in production or on site placement.

• Strong knowledge of QA/QC, aggregates and material testing methods and specifications.

  • Ability to interpret specifications and laboratory results.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
