Synergie is seeking Multiple Day & Afternoon Shifts Forklift Operators for our client, who is Australia’s leading national logistics company located in Altona North, VIC.

• $37 - $44 per hour + OT
• Ongoing Opportunities Temp to Perm
• Monday to Friday |  

What you will be required to do:

As a Forklift Operator, you will play a key role in supporting transport operations by safely operating a counterbalance forklift, loading and unloading trailers, and ensuring freight is handled efficiently to meet delivery schedules.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating a counterbalance forklift to safely load and unload trucks and trailers.
• Opening and closing curtains, gates and securing load restraint equipment.
• Ensuring freight is loaded, unloaded and staged safely and efficiently.
• Completing pre-start forklift checks and operating equipment safely at all times.
• Working in a fast-paced transport and logistics environment.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment

To be successful in the role you will:

• A current LF Forklift Licence.
• Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift within a transport, logistics or warehouse environment.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers.
• Experience working with curtains, gates and load restraint equipment (highly regarded).
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Please note successful applicants will need to undergo Police Check and Medical.
