About the role

We are a thriving Gynaecology Practice based in Glenelg. We are seeking a highly organised , reliable and hard working Registered Nurse/Enrolled Nurse to join our team at MJ Gynaecology Services (Dr Monika Juneja) in Glenelg South, SA. The applicant is required to work for approximately 15-20 hrs/wk during consulting sessions. Job days of work would be between Monday to Wednesday and will be discussed with the applicant. No after-hours, weekend, or public holiday work required. Leave cover for other days may be required occasionally.

As a practice nurse you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth running of our Gynaecology practice and who shares our values in providing patients a high standard of care. We are seeking a Nurse for busy gynaecology practice to join our team on a casual basis in Glenelg South SA 5045 . As a nurse for the rooms you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care and support to patients in our practice.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting doctors with examinations, treatments, and procedures

• Providing patient education and promoting preventive care

• Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation

• Ensuring a clean, safe, and well-stocked clinical environment

• Collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver coordinated patient care

• Explaining pre-operative instructions to patients

• Coordinate patient recalls and follow up for required investigations

What we're looking for

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse/Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

• Previous nursing experience of working and similar setting or hospital desirable.

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of general medical and surgical nursing practices

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, doctors, and the healthcare team

• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and data management

• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care

• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
