The Opportunity
The Project Manager - Venue Transitions is directly responsible for the successful opening and closing of venues in APAC. This role is responsible for pre-planning all elements of the project including coordinating with a range of other departments to ensure successful on-time opening. They will have a close working relationship with the Installation team as well as procurement and state management. The Project Manager - Venue Transitions will travel to venues as required and are responsible for coordinating contractors and suppliers, resolving logistics issues, building storerooms, training on equipment, and ensuring the local teams have all tools to successfully operate day to day business upon completion of the open. This role will also support the closing process and communication with all key stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities
Take designed projects from a closed won opportunity through to final installation, focusing on quality, communication, and customer satisfaction. Co-ordinate the delivery of all pre and post-installation documentation for installation, training, budgeting, compliance, acceptance and record keeping.Coordinate and confirm site readiness activities are complete prior to arrival, particularly when provided by a third party. Secure delivery and management of equipment to and from site, negotiate access and storage.Confidently and consistently communicate with key venue stakeholders and other Encore teams with a variety of levels of understanding to set and deliver on expectations about installation progress, handling deviations from the plan professionally and with a win-win mindset.Interpret technical drawings, tender documents, bills of material, scopes, permitting authorities, regulatory agencies and others supporting of work and project plans.Responsible for building and communicating the schedule for move-in along with key dates, parties.Act as primary liaison around all transition projects, ensuring a single point of contact for internal and external stakeholdersFrequently communicate with local venue teams to identify any potential challenges, providing solutions, and meeting all critical objectivesOwn and monitor the new venue guidelines and checklist.Coordinate with warehouse, local leadership, and logistics to ensure accurate and safe delivery of the equipment.Partner with operations and procurement to monitor fill rates and lead times making changes to align with shifting dates when applicable.
