Business Manager - Woodridge State High School

We are seeking an experienced, strategic and forward-thinking Business Manager to join our leadership team and provide high-level advice and operational leadership across finance, human resources, facilities and corporate services. Working closely with the Principal and Executive Management team, you will play a key role in shaping the school’s strategic direction, ensuring resources are managed effectively and business operations align with departmental priorities and school objectives.

Your opportunity:

• Provide strategic advice, analysis and planning support to the Principal and the Executive Management team in relation to financial planning and budgeting, human resource management, and facility and asset management.
• Manage the strategic operations of the school to ensure operations are managed professionally to align with departmental priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of school-wide corporate services and support the Principal with strategic planning and operational management.
• Manage school finances, budgeting, reporting and financial compliance.
• Lead human resource management, including recruitment, workforce planning, performance management and staff development.
• Oversee facilities, assets, maintenance and project management, including contractors.
• Review and improve systems, processes and business practices to support continuous improvement.
• Provide strategic advice, analysis and data-informed recommendations to the Principal and Executive Team.
• Lead change, innovation and operational improvement across the school.
• Build strong partnerships with parents, government, community, industry and business stakeholders.
• Develop opportunities for funding, marketing and commercial activities to benefit the school.
• Promote high performance, accountability, good governance and quality service delivery.
