Store Manager - Premium Bedding & Homewares

About the role

This is a customer-facing Store Manager opportunity for a polished retail professional with experience in bedding, manchester or home textiles. You will be responsible for the customer experience, sales performance, visual presentation and daily operation of the store. The position is suited to someone who enjoys delivering exceptional service while remaining hands-on across sales, bed styling, merchandising and store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver knowledgeable and personalised customer service

• Provide considered product advice across bedding, silk, quilts and bath

• Drive sales and work towards store targets and KPIs

• Style display beds and coordinate bedding, colour and product combinations

• Regularly refresh displays to maintain a polished and inspiring store presentation

• Maintain high visual merchandising and presentation standards throughout the store

• Manage opening and closing procedures, POS and daily reconciliation

• Manage customer orders, exchanges and after-sales enquiries

• Train and roster part-time sales staff

• Develop lasting relationships with customers

About you

• Previous retail experience specifically within bedding, manchester or home textiles is essential

• Experience in store management, assistant store management or a senior retail sales position

• Strong knowledge of bedding products, fabrics, and customer requirements

• Demonstrated experience in bed styling, bedding presentation and visual merchandising

• Experience working towards sales targets and KPIs

• Confidence using POS systems and managing daily store operations

• A genuine appreciation for quality textiles, interiors and the details that make a home feel considered

• Warm, polished and comfortable delivering personalised customer service

• Organised, reliable and willing to be hands-on across all areas of the store

• Availability to work a rotating five-day roster, including some weekends

ABMORE is an Australian bedding and homewares brand offering considered collections across bedding, silk quilts and bath. We are opening our first retail store on Darling Street, Balmain.

• $70,000–$72,000 base salary plus super
