About the role
Join the PTA Project Delivery Division and play a pivotal leadership role in delivering one of Western Australia's largest infrastructure portfolios. As the Safety and Quality Manager, you will provide strategic leadership across safety, quality, assurance, risk and compliance functions, supporting the successful delivery of major infrastructure and technology projects throughout the Public Transport Authority (PTA).
Reporting to the Manager Business Strategy, Governance and Delivery, this role is responsible for strengthening governance, assurance and organisational capability across the division. Working closely with project teams, stakeholders and regulators, you will drive the development and implementation of safety assurance, compliance and quality strategies that support the delivery of projects safely, efficiently and in accordance with PTA and legislative requirements.

There is currently one fixed term opportunity available to August 2029 with the possibility of renewal and/or permanency. Applicants assessed as suitable through this process may be used to fill similar vacancies on a fixed term or permanent basis that may arise within the next 12 months.
To be eligible to work permanently at the PTA you must be either an Australian Citizen, have Permanent Residency status or hold a current visa with permanent working rights in Australia until August 2029.
