The role

Blacktown Nursing Home is looking for passionate RN's to work within its committed team. You will assist with delivering best practice clinical care and support that enhances the health and wellbeing of our residents.

As a registered nurse you will provide direct nursing care, clinical advice and assist management in the oversight of clinical governance, while delivering expert care in line with the aged care standards.

You will provide leadership to support staff and promote a harmonious team approach.

We are currently seeking Casual Registered Nurses to work Monday to Sunday night shifts, as well as Permanent Part-Time Registered Nurses for Wednesday and Thursday shifts.

About you

You genuinely care about making a difference in the lives of older Australians and are passionate about what you do.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Current AHPRA registration

• At least two years' experience as an RN working in aged care/home care, however we will consider less for the right person

• Proven skills in clinical care - including assessments, medication, wound and incontinence management, catheter care, palliative care

• Thrive in a team environment.

• Understanding of current aged care standards.

• Commitment to being part of healthy workplace culture, work well autonomously and a supportive team environment

• Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

• Hold Australian working rights, NDIS check.
