About the Role

As a Casual PCA Orderly with BLU Healthcare, you will play an important role in supporting patients and clinical teams to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of care.

Depending on the shift and hospital requirements, your duties may include providing patient support, assisting with mobility and transfers, transporting patients safely throughout the hospital, and supporting nursing and clinical teams with general patient care duties.

About You

• Recent experience working as a PCA, Hospital Orderly, or Patient Services Assistant
• Confident assisting with patient mobility, transfers, and manual handling
• Strong understanding of patient safety and infection prevention procedures
• Comfortable working in fast-paced hospital environments
• Reliable, professional, and patient-focused
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Essential Requirements

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Health Services Assistance, or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 12 months recent experience as a PCA, Hospital Orderly, Patient Services Assistant, or similar healthcare support role
• Current National Police Check
• Current Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC), where applicable
• Current vaccination evidence and serology in line with hospital requirements, including annual Influenza vaccination
