QC Chemist

An opportunity has become available for a QC Chemist to join our team at Nature’s Care on a permanent full-time basis. This role is based at our head office and state of the art production facilities in Belrose, with free parking on-site.

As QC Chemist, you will help drive positive outcomes across the manufacturing processes of our range of complementary medicine, cosmetic and personal care products.

You will be passionate about improving quality standards across the business with a focus on continuous improvement.

You will provide assistance in a variety of activities with a focus on analytical chemistry. Some activities include:

• Record tests required for raw materials and finished products, and send samples to contract laboratory for testing if required

• Testing of raw materials, bulk and finished products

• Product stability testing and maintenance of stability samples

• Perform duties in compliance with the requirement of PICs cGMP

• Administrative and other duties as required 

This is a great opportunity if you have a Bachelor of Chemistry/Science or related discipline and are looking to grow your career in a supportive environment.

To be successful in the role;

• 2+ years of hands on experience with instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, IR, UV etc

• Experience or knowledge of testing samples in a pharmaceutical environment or food industry
