Motel Maintenance/Handyman

Hello,

We are a well known and established Motel who have been in business in Rivervale, Perth for many years.

We currently require a hardworking, self-motivated, fit and reliable person to join our team as a Handyman/Yardman in a full time role.

We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible. Any prior experience in Maintenance in the Hospitality industry is highly regarded.

Some of the responsibilities of the role are:

• Maintenance & repairs in rooms and common areas.

• Maintaining the building, plant, equipment, fixtures and fittings.

• Keeping the yard and common areas clean and tidy.

• Maintaining gardens.

• Emptying rubbish bins.

• Doing swimming pool checks.

• Collecting items from local suppliers.

To be a successful candidate you will:

• Have a valid driver's license and vehicle.

• Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

• Be experienced with many aspects of repairs and maintenance.

• Have a willingness to learn new skills.

• Be physically fit.

• Take pride in your work.

• Have an understanding of workplace safety.

• Have the ability to communicate with guests in a professional manner.

• Ability to accommodate flexibility with shifts.
