About the role
The Acute Care Team (ACT) works intensively in the community with people experiencing mental ill-health, and their families and supports. ACT may be the first point of contact in mental health services providing assessment and care to individuals who have not previously been seen by mental health services. Care is recovery-oriented and trauma-informed, designed to support people to regain their mental health and wellbeing. ACT provides an extended hours service seven days a week, 8:30am to 10:00pm.
The RoleProvides assertive community-based mental health care to consumers, including triage, comprehensive mental health assessments, assertive short-term care coordination, safety planning, and ongoing psychotherapeutic work using a range of modalities and techniques, transfer of care and discharge planning, in collaboration with consumers, families and carers, within a multi-disciplinary team.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary$117,272 to $126,182 per annum (pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
