The Role

Based in Cannon Hill, this 12-month Business Administration traineeship will be within the Accounts Payable team learning various parts along your traineeship journey including how to: process invoices, make payments, reconcile accounts, maintain records, responding to day to general enquiries and performing administration support.

The trainee will be placed with our host, The Endeavour Foundation. An organisation where people are working together, making possibilities a reality for people with a disability.

With over 5,000 staff operating over 300 sites in the heart of local communities across Queensland and New South Wales and Victoria, the Endeavour Foundation offers choice, opportunities and personalised support in the key areas of home, work, learning and community participation.

This traineeship will offer a wealth of knowledge to build a foundation for an aspiring business professional, plus the advantage of working in a supportive team environment with a dedicated Community Solutions Field Officer who will guide you through obtaining your Cert III in Business.

What will you bring to the role?

Our team will help you develop during the traineeship, but there are some minimum requirements and key traits we’re looking for:

• An aspiration to work in business & finance
• An eye for detail with the ability to follow procedures & directions well
• Understand the importance of client privacy
• Has a natural ability to pick up new systems quickly
• Ability to work Monday to Friday full time
• Pass a Police Check
• Provide two references
• Successful candidates will participate in a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol test

Who We Are?

Community Solutions is a non-for-profit organisation operating as a commercial business, providing apprentices and trainees to a variety of different businesses throughout Queensland. We provide apprentices and trainees important career guidance and opportunity to earn while they learn. Dedicated Field Officers are assigned to apprentices and trainees to provide ongoing support to completing their chosen trade qualification.
