Construction Teacher

St Joseph’s Nudgee College is seeking a skilled and engaging Construction Teacher to join our Skills & Training team on a fixed term basis.

This fixed term contract for Term 4 2026 commences on Tuesday, 6 October and runs through to Wednesday, 2 December, with the teaching load primarily focused on Year 10 Construction.

As a member of our Skills & Training team, you will:

• Teach Construction, primarily to Year 10 students

• Deliver engaging, practical and hands-on learning experiences

• Support students to develop practical skills, confidence and knowledge

• Create a safe, inclusive and positive workshop environment

• Contribute to curriculum planning and faculty collaboration

• Support students both academically and pastorally

• Participate actively in the co-curricular and faith life of the College

You are an educator who enjoys bringing learning to life through practical experiences and building students’ confidence in the workshop. You bring:

• Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers

• Demonstrated capability and experience teaching Construction or a related Technologies discipline

• A practical and engaging approach to teaching and learning

• A willingness to contribute to the wider life and mission of the College
