Environmental Consultant

The Environmental Consultant is responsible for managing environmental compliance and sustainability performance across large-scale renewable energy construction projects, including solar farms and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) across regional Australia. Working on-site, the role ensures all environmental management plans, approval conditions, and regulatory requirements are effectively implemented during construction activities.

The position supports construction teams with practical environmental controls such as erosion and sediment management, waste handling, dust suppression, and pollution prevention, while monitoring impacts to land, water, flora, and fauna. It also involves regular site inspections, reporting, incident management, and liaison with stakeholders including regulators and subcontractors.

This is a field-based role requiring adaptability to remote project environments and a strong focus on delivering compliant, sustainable outcomes in high-intensity construction settings.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
