Inventory Stock Receiver and Storeman

The overall job purpose for the Inventory Officer is to receive and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring the efficient fulfillment of orders, and managing general warehouse operations. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, internal teams and customers to ensure smooth inventory flow, timely order processing, and a well-organised warehouse environment. A knowledge and interest in golf is not critical, but will be of great benefit to this role. Show this in your cover letter.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• receive and manage inbound inventory and invoice application. Monthly audit older PO’s and maintain their arrival. Other tasks and projects as required by your manager.

• Participating in cross-functional meetings and providing input on inventory-related matters.

• Assist with required stock takes and variance reports.

• Conducting regular audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity in the inventory management system. Liaison with suppliers ensuring end of life products are identified and strategically removed.

• Fulfill online orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all products are properly picked, packed, and shipped in a timely manner.

• Maintain a high level of inventory accuracy by regularly counting and verifying stock levels and investigating and resolving any discrepancies as required.

• Organise and maintain the warehouse to ensure that products are stored safely and efficiently, and that the warehouse is clean, tidy, and hazard-free at all times.

• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily goals and objectives, communicating effectively to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.

• Use warehouse management software to track and update inventory levels, receive orders, process orders, and generate reports as required. Participate in regular training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge and stay up to date with changes in company procedures, and best practices.

• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to customer inquiries, resolving issues effectively, and always maintaining a positive and professional attitude. Any other task as directed by your manager.
