Full Time Bartender – Dispense Bar

Cafe Sydney is hiring a full-time Food & Beverage Attendant to join our Bar Team in the dispense bar!

Operating seven days a week, we serve lunch and dinner Monday to Saturday, with a relaxed lunch service on Sundays. The Role

We are seeking a full-time Food & Beverage Attendant to join our Bar Team in the dispense bar. This is a high-volume, fast-paced and service-driven role, focused on preparing beverages for the restaurant floor with consistency, speed and attention to detail. This is a full-time position, paid hourly under our Enterprise Agreement with rates closely aligned to the Restaurant Industry Award.

Responsibilities Include

• Preparing and serving a wide range of beverages including soft drinks, wine and beer
• Delivering consistent barista coffee service to a high standard
• Working efficiently in a high-volume environment, supporting the restaurant team during busy services
• Maintaining bar cleanliness, stock rotation and mise en place
• Upholding Cafe Sydney’s standards of excellence in every guest interaction

About You

• Previous experience in a high-volume, high-quality venue
• Strong barista skills and beverage knowledge
• Ability to multitask and work calmly under pressure
• Must hold a current RSA
• Successful candidates will also be required to complete the NSW Food Authority Food Handler Basics training
• Must have full working rights in Australia (visa sponsorship is not available for this role)
• Availability across five shifts per week, including weekends
