Scarboro Plumbing is looking for an experienced maintenance plumber to join our team.

Based in Scarborough, in Perth's coastal suburbs, we have a strong local customer base throughout Scarborough and the surrounding coastal and northern suburbs, along with established commercial and property maintenance clients.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working independently, dealing directly with customers and taking responsibility for their jobs from initial diagnosis through to completion.

For the right person, this isn't just another maintenance plumbing position. There is genuine opportunity to become a key part of Scarboro Plumbing and take on greater responsibility as the business grows.

You'll be provided with a company vehicle and trusted to manage a varied workload of residential and commercial maintenance plumbing.

Your work will include:

• General plumbing maintenance and repairs

• Blocked drains and drainage investigations

• Hot water system servicing, replacement and installation

• Tap, toilet and fixture repairs and replacements

• Leak detection and fault finding

• Gas plumbing and appliance work where appropriately licensed

• Commercial and property maintenance

• Minor plumbing installations and upgrades

• Identifying and quoting additional works

• Communicating directly with customers, property managers and commercial clients

• Completing job documentation and photographs

• Managing your jobs through to completion

We don't believe an experienced tradesperson needs to be micromanaged.

You'll have the support of the business when you need it, but you'll also be trusted to organise your work, solve problems and look after our customers.

Scarboro Plumbing operates as part of Adaptable Group, an established Perth plumbing, civil and construction business.

While your primary role will be with Scarboro Plumbing and our maintenance customers, being part of the wider group creates opportunities that aren't normally available in a traditional maintenance plumbing position.

Depending on your experience and interests, you'll have the opportunity to gain exposure to:

We're looking for a plumber who:

• Is a registered or licensed plumber

• Has solid maintenance plumbing experience

• Can confidently diagnose and solve plumbing problems

• Takes pride in quality workmanship

• Is comfortable working independently

• Presents well and communicates confidently with customers

• Can manage a job from initial attendance through to completion

• Can identify and accurately quote additional work

• Is organised, reliable and takes responsibility for their work

• Understands the importance of good job documentation and photographs

• Leaves the customer's property clean and presentable

• Holds a current C Class or Driver's License 

A Gasfitting Licence and experience with drainage equipment would be highly regarded.
