Console Operator

☕ Café / Kitchen Duties

• Preparing and serving coffee and other beverages
• Preparing sandwiches, wraps, burgers and hot food
• Food preparation and basic cooking
• Serving customers and taking orders
• Operating the POS/cash register
• Restocking food, drinks and café supplies
• Cleaning tables, counters, equipment and kitchen areas
• Washing dishes and maintaining kitchen hygiene
• Following food safety and workplace hygiene requirements
• Checking food quality and expiry dates
• Opening and/or closing the café as required

⛽ Service Station / Retail Duties

• Serving customers at the counter
• Operating the POS and handling cash/card payments
• Fuel station customer service
• Restocking shelves, fridges and displays
• Checking stock levels and expiry dates
• Receiving and putting away deliveries
• Maintaining a clean and tidy shop
• Cleaning forecourt and customer areas
• Assisting customers with general enquiries
• Following service station safety procedures
• Complying with tobacco and age-restricted product requirements
• Opening and/or closing duties as required

Pay: Up to $26.00 per hour
