Caravan Service Technician (Monthly RDO)

We are currently seeking an experienced Caravan Service Technician to work alongside a team of dedicated repair technicians in providing mechanical and warranty repair applications for large caravan brands such as Jayco and Crusader Caravans. The company has a positive climate, offers great educational experiences, and has a monthly RDO for all staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a range of service-based repairs and maintenance items on caravans, including bearing inspections, brake adjustments, suspension inspections, component lubrication and external silicone works.

• Provide technical advice and guidance to customers and staff when required.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of repair work (eg. Photos of work completed, repair comments, etc)

• Assist in managing workshop inventory and supplies as required.

• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety policies and procedures.

Key Requirements:

• Experience PREFERRED (but not required) in caravan servicing methods and problem solving in areas such as bearings, brakes, suspension, tow couplings, trailer lighting and silicone maintenance.

• Experience in the use of powered hand and benchtop tools.

• Computer skills, including experience with industry-specific software and programs.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Familiarity with relevant workplace health and safety policies and procedures.

• Must hold a current and valid driver’s license.

• Forklift license and have experience operating one in a similar environment is advantageous, but not essential.
