About the Austin IBD Service
The IBD Service is a sub-specialty of Gastroenterology within the Surgery, Anaesthesia and Procedural Medicine Division (SAPM). The service consists of a dedicated multi-disciplinary team (MDT) who provide collaborative care for people with IBD. The service receives referrals from a large regional catchment, as well as local and interstate referrals of patients with complex IBD and intestinal failure, ulcerative colitis and primary sclerosing cholangitis, high risk pregnant patients and paediatric patients transitioning to adult care.
About the role
The IBD CNC is an integral role within the IBD MDT responsible for providing high quality coordination of care for patients with IBD. This is a fixed term, part time position (5 days/40 hours per fortnight).
