About the RoleWe’re seeking a full‑time Baker to join us on‑site production team. You’ll prepare, mix, and bake a range of products including bread, cookies, and specialty items. Daily tasks include scaling ingredients, operating bakery equipment, monitoring baking times and temperatures, and ensuring products meet quality and presentation standards. You’ll also help maintain a clean workspace, follow food safety procedures, and support stock rotation and production deadlines.
Working in a Bakers Delight bakery, you will be responsible for
Making quality products to meet the changing customers' needs.
Maintaining bakery cleanliness and WHS standards.
Assisting the Bakery Manager with stock levels, production merchandising, and product quality.
Skills & Experience Required
Certificate III in Baking (or equivalent)
At least 2 years’ experience working as a Baker in a commercial bakery
Strong baking skills with consistent product quality
Experience producing bread, cookies, and similar baked goods
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to follow recipes and production instructions accurately
Good time management and reliability
Physical ability to work in a warm bakery environment and lift ingredient bags/trays
Fluent English-speaking skills
