What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering safe, person-centred nursing and/or midwifery care across inpatient and emergency settings at Port Lincoln Hospital
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care
• Supporting patients and families through acute episodes, including those requiring maternity or birthing care where applicable
• Contributing to a culture of continuous quality improvement and clinical safety within the unit

What You'll Bring

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Experience in a generalist, emergency or maternity setting - rural or regional experience highly regarded
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and adapt in a smaller hospital environment with broad scope
• Clear communication skills and a commitment to culturally safe care, including for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients
• Willingness to work variable casual shifts across the pool period through to 30 June 2027
