General Handyman – 5+ Years’ Experience (Doors, Plastering, Painting)

We’re looking for an experienced General Handyman with a strong track record in door repairs, plastering, and painting to join our team. If you’re reliable, detail-oriented, and take pride in quality workmanship, we’d love to hear from you.

• Full-time / Casual (flexible) options 

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across residential and/or commercial properties, with a focus on:

• Door repairs and adjustments of fire doors, including hinges, locks, frames, and door closures 

• Plastering – patching, plaster settling, repairing damaged walls/ceilings, and preparing surfaces ready for paint 

• Painting – interior painting, surface prep, colour matching, and finishing to a high standard

• General handyman duties such as minor carpentry, door adjustment works, and basic maintenance tasks such as installing signage and fire extinguishers 

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a handyman or in a similar trade role

• Proven experience in door repairs, plastering, and painting (examples or portfolio preferred)

• Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality finishes

• Own reliable basic tools

• Valid driver’s licence

• White Card 

• Good communication skills and professional attitude with clients
