Garden Maintenance Team Leader

As the Garden Maintenance Team Leader at Lux, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our clients outdoor spaces. This hands-on position requires practical expertise and strong leadership qualities. You will lead and work alongside our small maintenance team, overseeing and participating in a range of gardening and horticultural tasks including planting, pruning, weeding, fertilising, and pest management.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Horticulture or a related field preferred; Cert III in Horticulture will be highly regarded

• Proven experience in gardening and horticulture, with a minimum of 3 years of experience

• Physical fitness and the capacity to perform physically demanding tasks

• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to lead by example

• Organisational skills to plan and coordinate tasks effectively

• Current driver's licence (maintenance van is provided)
  

Key Responsibilities

• Leading the maintenance team, guiding them in day-to-day tasks and ensuring high-quality work

• Performing a range of gardening and horticultural tasks, including planting, pruning, weeding, fertilising, and pest management

• Overseeing garden maintenance schedules with consistent work across premium gardens

• Collaborating with clients to understand their requirements and providing expert advice on garden care
