Site Labourer - Progression to Crew Leader

We are seeking a hard-working, reliable Labourer who has the mental sharpness, attitude, and potential to grow quickly into a Crew Lead / Head Labourer role, running and supervising a crew on polished concrete projects.

This is not a cushy or entry-level “just turn up” job. The work is physically demanding, often dusty, and requires real stamina. If you’re after an easy role where you can coast, this is not for you. However, if you’re ambitious, eager to learn, and want to progress into a leadership position with better pay and responsibility, we want to hear from you.

The Role:

• Perform physically tough labouring tasks on polished concrete sites (grinding, polishing, lifting heavy dust bags, running machinery, cleaning, etc.)

• Work day shifts, night shifts, weekends, and overtime as required

• Travel interstate for projects (sometimes for weeks at a time)

• Start as a labourer with full training provided, with a clear pathway to become Lead Labourer / Head of Crew for those who demonstrate the right skills, work ethic, and leadership potential

About You – We Need Someone Who:

1. Is extremely reliable (turns up on time, every time, has a reliable vehicle, and answers their phone)

2. Has a strong, genuine work ethic and is prepared to work hard every day

3. Is physically “work fit” – this goes well beyond gym fit (you’ll be running machines and handling heavy loads in tough conditions)

4. Has excellent attention to detail

5. Is eager to learn and has the mental capacity to take on more responsibility quickly

6. Is highly flexible and available for day shifts, night shifts, weekends, overtime, and interstate travel

7. Holds a current Australian Driver’s Licence

8. Has (or is willing to obtain) a White Card and ABN

We have predominantly interstate work right now and your first month will be travel jobs. Do not apply if you are not willing to travel. You will be paid a living away from home allowance when travelling.
