The position 

We're looking for a Business Analyst to help shape and deliver technical solutions that support FYI's continued growth. Acting as the bridge between Product, Engineering and business stakeholders, you'll translate complex business challenges into clear technical requirements that drive high-quality product outcomes. 

Working closely with Engineering, Product and Quality teams, you'll play a key role in defining technical requirements for cloud-based solutions, ensuring requirements are well understood and aligned to both customer needs and technical feasibility.

Key responsibilities 

• Partner with Product, Engineering and business stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications, user stories and solution designs.  

• Analyse business processes, system integrations and support escalations to identify root causes, define practical solutions and drive continuous product improvement.  

• Collaborate with Engineering to define APIs, data flows and technical requirements that support scalable, high-quality product delivery.  

• Contribute to product planning and roadmap development by providing customer, technical and business insights that influence product priorities.  

• Drive successful feature releases by supporting go-live activities, cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement across product delivery. 

About you 

• At least 3 years experience as a Business Analyst within a SaaS or technology environment. 

• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, integrations and RESTful APIs in agile delivery environments.  

• Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications, user stories and solution designs. 

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for delivering practical, customer-focused solutions. 

You'll need valid working rights in Australia and the ability to complete satisfactory background and verification checks as part of our standard recruitment process.
