• Remuneration: $168,578 to $194,406 pa (LEVC) (inclusive of $142,451 to $164,275 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
• Location: Kelvin Grove (hybrid option available)

We are seeking a Senior Lecturer in Creative Arts (Interdisciplinary) to join School of Creative Arts, Faculty of Creative Industries, Education and Social Justice.

What you need to succeed

1. Completion of a doctoral qualification.
2. Experience in teaching interdisciplinary units plus expertise in one or more of the following major disciplinary areas (Film and Screen, Animation, Visual Arts, Music, Acting, Drama, Creative Writing).
3. Evidence of effective leadership of curriculum development and design, effective unit-level administration and leading teaching teams at undergraduate level, with a strong teaching profile with demonstrated positive student feedback.
4. Demonstrated leadership in using contemporary and emerging digital approaches, methods, and tools to develop innovative approaches to learning, curriculum development, research and industry practice.
5. A strong record of engaged and impactful research in the creative industries; evidenced for instance by publications in relevant high-quality journals; success in winning competitive research funding from key national and international funding bodies; completion of high impact research projects with government, industry, or community partners; consultancy with government, industry, commercial and/ or teams’ professional bodies.
6. Demonstrated highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work within an interdisciplinary team of academic and professional colleagues, and engagement with industry stakeholders to enhance teaching and research performance.
7. Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and Indigenous Australian engagement.
