The Role

We are seeking a practical, proactive, and highly organised Maintenance / Handyperson to join our team on a fixed-term, full-time basis.

You will be responsible for ensuring our property remains safe, compliant, and maintained to an exceptional standard. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, however, flexibility is required to assist with weekends during peak seasonal periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular facilities and equipment inspections to prevent operational downtime.

• General Repairs: Efficiently diagnose and resolve daily venue issues, including plumbing, carpentry, and basic building repairs.

• Compliance & Record Keeping: Accurately complete and maintain safety, testing, and compliance logs.

• Property Upkeep: Maintain the presentation of all grounds, pathways, and guest areas with strong attention to detail.

• Teamwork & Autonomy: Work productively both independently on daily tasks and collaboratively on larger venue projects.

Skills and Experience Required

• Licences: Must hold a valid Driver’s Licence and a current Forklift Licence (High Risk Work).

• Experience: Proven hands-on experience in general building maintenance, trade environments, or property upkeep.

• Attributes: Reliable, highly organised, and possesses strong problem-solving capabilities.

• Workmanship: A high level of attention to detail and a commitment to taking pride in the quality of your work.
