The opportunity

We are currently seeking a dedicated and team-oriented Perioperative Registered Nurse to join our day surgery team in Scrub/Scout Dental and Plastics. 

Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in delivering safe, efficient and compassionate care to patients undergoing a wide range of dental and plastics surgical procedures.

In this role, you will:

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care with a strong focus on patient safety and surgical excellence.
• Perform scrub/scout duties.
• Liaise effectively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and other theatre staff to ensure seamless case flow.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
• Actively contribute to a positive team culture and continuous improvement of clinical practices.

Servicing Adelaide’s north-eastern suburbs, Windsor Gardens Day Surgery (in South Australia) is an accredited, architecturally designed, state-of-the-art surgical facility for various specialties.

The day surgery is part of the 480 Specialist Centre on North East Road and is co-located with a number of other specialist health services.

About you

We’re looking for a nurse who is calm under pressure, clinically confident, and passionate about delivering exceptional surgical care.

You will also bring:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Previous experience in Scrub/Scout- dental and plastics is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a clinical team.
• Commitment to infection control, WHS and quality improvement.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
